Southwest Airlines has announced a new partnership with German carrier Condor, giving U.S. travellers expanded access to nearly 70 destinations across Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas via Condor’s Frankfurt hub. The collaboration, unveiled on 2 December, will allow seamless single-ticket itineraries connecting Condor’s long-haul flights with Southwest’s domestic network at six U.S. airports: Boston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Portland, San Francisco and Seattle.
The new transatlantic travel options go on sale immediately and will be available for travel beginning 19 January 2026, bookable through Condor, travel agencies and online booking platforms.
“Adding Condor to our portfolio of partners brings transatlantic journeys between dozens of airports in the U.S. and the exciting and aspirational places Condor serves,” said Andrew Watterson, Southwest’s Chief Operating Officer. He highlighted Las Vegas as a key connection point, offering international passengers more than 270 daily Southwest departures and nonstop service to over 70 cities.
Condor’s Director of Sales for the Americas, Mikko Turtiainen, underscored the benefits of the partnership for customers: “The collaboration with Southwest Airlines enhances Condor’s transatlantic connectivity and provides our customers with an extended route network.”
The agreement marks Southwest’s fifth partnership with an overseas carrier, connecting its network to destinations across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. The airline is also preparing a series of customer-experience upgrades, including a redesigned cabin and the introduction of assigned seating and extra-legroom options on flights from 27 January 2026.
