Condor has inaugurated its first flight to Sanya, on China’s Hainan Island, marking a new addition to its Asia-Pacific destinations. Flight DE2362 departed Frankfurt on July 26, 2025, with a stopover in Bangkok, and arrived in Sanya on July 27, where it was welcomed with a traditional ceremony.
The new route operates three times per week (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays) using the modern Airbus A330neo, offering Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy options.
This launch follows a March 2025 MoU between Condor, the Sanya Tourism Board, and Sanya Phoenix International Airport, which also includes a commitment to promoting responsible tourism and cultural preservation. Condor sees this as a strategic move to strengthen its long-haul presence in Asia and boost travel between Europe and southern China.
