Condor has officially launched a daily nonstop service between Frankfurt and Tel Aviv, further expanding its international network and strengthening air links between Germany and Israel.
The inaugural flight landed at Ben Gurion Airport on 1 August 2026, where it was welcomed with a ceremonial reception attended by airline representatives and senior aviation officials.
The new route will operate daily, with afternoon departures from Frankfurt and return flights from Tel Aviv the following morning. Condor said the service is designed to meet growing demand for travel between Israel and Germany while providing convenient onward connections through Frankfurt to more than 70 destinations across its network.
“We are expanding our route network with an attractive destination in a region that is strategically important to Condor,” said Peter Gerber, Chief Executive Officer of Condor. “Our guests will benefit not only from a convenient nonstop connection from Frankfurt but also from seamless onward connections when flying from all over the world to Israel.”
The launch marks Condor’s return to scheduled services to Israel and forms part of the airline’s continued network expansion. The carrier has recently announced several new long-haul and medium-haul routes as it grows its presence from its Frankfurt hub.
Passengers on the Frankfurt–Tel Aviv route can choose between Business Class and Economy Class, while travellers connecting to Condor’s long-haul network have access to the airline’s three-class product, including Premium Economy and Business Class featuring fully flat seats.
Founded in 1956, Condor has undergone a major brand transformation in recent years with the introduction of its distinctive striped aircraft livery, inspired by beach towels and holiday destinations, which has become one of the airline’s most recognisable visual trademarks.
