CityJet, the Irish European regional airline, today announced that it is launching two routes serving Bastia in Corsica.The airline will operate weekly service from Bastia to Avignon and Béziers, commencing on 25th June and running until 3rd September. CityJet already operates seasonal routes from London City Airport to Toulon and Avignon and from Cork to Nantes and La Rochelle, in addition to its year-round service from London City to Paris Orly and Nantes.
CityJet Commercial Director, Cathal O’Connell, said: “Our London City Airport Summer routes to Toulon and Avignon are extremely popular. For 2016 we will add new services connecting the beautiful Corsican city of Bastia to both Avignon and Beziers and offering great value service to French holidaymakers. Flights will operate every Saturday through the summer season.”
Flights will operate on CityJet’s 95-seat Avro RJ85 aircraft. As with all CityJet services, all fares include a complimentary 23kg checked-in baggage allowance and on board drinks and snacks.
