Challenge Group is expanding its intercontinental air cargo network with two new direct freighter routes from Liège Airport to Mumbai and Shanghai, strengthening connectivity between Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
Starting 2 July 2026, the company will introduce services operated by the Boeing 777-300ERSF:
The expansion reinforces Liège as a central European cargo hub and deepens Challenge Group’s footprint in two critical manufacturing and export markets, India and China. The new routes are designed to improve flows of goods between Asia, Europe, the United States, and South America.
The services will support high-value and time-sensitive sectors including pharmaceuticals, life sciences, technology, industrial equipment, and project cargo, integrated with the group’s broader logistics and road feeder network.
According to management, the strategy reflects long-term investment in network expansion, fleet modernisation, and end-to-end logistics capabilities, positioning the company to meet growing demand for flexible global supply chain solutions.
