Cathay Pacific

Meanwhile at the Cathay Paciic – eeerrrggghhh – PaciFic paint shop

A funny typo on a Cathay Pacific Boeing 777 (B-HNO) – the aircraft came out of the paint shop as Cathay Paciic – has even made the airline to laugh with it. On social media, the Hong Kong based airline said: “Breaking! Limited edition (Boeing) 777 makes an appearance. Oops this special livery won’t last long! She’s going back to the shop!“

From 29 August, the aircraft was in maintenance at Xiamen, China and has just returned to Hong Kong (19 September).

The airline didn’t hide the error but took the opportunity to turn the typo into some short of publicity, which is great! Sometimes bad news can be good news 😉
