Cathay Pacific will relaunch non-stop passenger flights between Hong Kong and Seattle on 30 March 2026, operating five times weekly with Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Seattle will become the airline’s ninth North American destination, strengthening connectivity from its Hong Kong hub to the United States, particularly for travellers from Mainland China and India.
The return of Seattle service comes as Cathay increases its U.S. presence, including Dallas–Fort Worth flights, which will rise from four per week to daily starting 26 October 2025. Overall, the airline plans more than 110 weekly return flights to North America during summer 2026, covering Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, and Vancouver.
To mark the launch, Cathay Pacific is offering promotional round-trip Economy fares starting at HK$5,060 for bookings made between 22 September and 31 October 2025, for travel between 30 March and 30 June 2026.
Alongside network expansion, Cathay is enhancing its customer experience with new Aria Suite Business class, upgraded Premium Economy and refreshed Economy cabins, as well as expanded lounge offerings, including a new 10,000-square-foot flagship lounge at New York JFK’s Terminal 6 in 2026. The Seattle flights will also support cargo operations, complementing nearly 40 freighter services per week to North America at the summer peak.
