On 16 January, a Cargolux Boeing 747-8 freighter (LX-VCJ) from Kuala Lumpur to Zhengzhou as CV7303 declared an emergency and headed back to its airport of departure.
Fire and smoke were reported in the cockpit, hence the pilots decided for a quick return. “Cargolux flight CV7303 (LX-VCJ) has safely landed in KUL after emergency was declared,” the cargo airline tweeted.
