Air Cambodia has signed a letter of intent with Comac for up to 20 C909 regional jets, marking another step in the Chinese manufacturer’s expansion across Southeast Asia.

The 90-seat C909 – China’s first commercially produced passenger jet (introduced in 2016 as the ARJ21) – is already in service with airlines in Indonesia, Vietnam, and Laos. Lao Airlines recently added a second C909, deploying it on cross-border routes to Bangkok.
