British Airways is trebling flights between London City and Geneva and making it a year-round service.
The current five-a-week schedule from the Docklands airport is a winter only leisure route, which is very popular with skiers and winter sports enthusiasts.
From September 6 it will increase to up to three flights a day with an excellent schedule aimed at business customers. Flights will depart London City at 08:15, 14:15 and 18:50 and depart Geneva at 07:10,12:55 and 17:45.
Morning and evening departures from both cities means customers will be able to do a full day’s business in both Geneva and London.
The new flights go on sale today (May 13).
Luke Hayhoe, British Airways’ general manager commercial, London City, said: “Geneva has traditionally been a leisure route for us from London City but more and more of our customers have been asking us to provide a year-round business schedule, linking these two important commercial centres and complimenting the services we offer from London Heathrow.”
Travellers have a quick and easy journey through London City Airport and with hand baggage only they can move from kerbside to airside in just 15 minutes.
British Airways fares include a generous free hand baggage allowance, free seat selection and check-in 24 hours before departure, complimentary hot meals and drinks on board.
