Blue Air adds two dozen weekly direct services between Greece and Romania and becomes the largest carrier on this highly demanded Summer 21 market
Blue Air has launched its Greece services in late April from Romania and it is now operating 17 weekly frequencies to 5 Greek destinations under the Summer 2021 Schedule. Blue Air is flying from Bucharest to Athens, Heraklion, Rhodes, Mykonos and Zakynthos, and from Bacau to Athens with ticket prices starting from 19.99 euro / one way, taxes and one free change included.
As part of its positioning strategy as Romanians’ first ultra-low-cost air transport option, Blue Air focuses on expanding its network and providing efficient connections with destinations of major interest for both the leisure and the business segment, at the most affordable travel rates.
Blue Air has launched for the first time in its 16 years history a direct daily service to Athens and twice-weekly service to Bacau and has deployed a significant part of its leisure capacity from Bucharest to Greece this Summer, introducing twice-weekly service to four Greek islands that are holidaymakers’ all-time favourites.
Blue Air is operating 17 direct weekly flights between Romania and Greece under the Summer 21 Schedule, with the following frequencies:
- Bucharest – Athens: 7 flights weekly
- Bacau – Athens: 2 flights weekly
- Bucharest – Heraklion: 2 flights weekly
- Bucharest – Rhodes: 2 flights weekly
- Bucharest – Mykonos: 2 flights/ weekly
- Bucharest – Zakynthos: 2 flights/ weekly
Blue Air is connecting Greece with all regions in Romania through 5 one-stop services between Athens and 5 key Romanian cities, via Bucharest Otopeni: Cluj Napoca, Iasi, Oradea, Suceava, Timisoara.
