Binter launches new Canary Islands–La Rioja route for Summer 2026

Share

Binter Canarias is expanding its domestic network with a new direct route linking the Canary Islands to northern Spain, adding flights to Logroño-Agoncillo Airport for the summer 2026 season.

Starting June 17, the airline will operate two weekly flights between La Rioja and Gran Canaria Airport, with services scheduled on Wednesdays and Sundays.

The move strengthens Binter’s presence in northern Spain, complementing its previously announced route to Vitoria-Gasteiz. The airline is positioning the service as part of its broader strategy to improve connectivity between mainland Spain and the Canary Islands.

A key feature of the new route is Binter’s free inter-island connections, allowing passengers to travel to or from any Canary Island at no additional cost via its extensive regional network of around 220 daily flights.

Flights will be operated using the Embraer E195-E2, offering a single-aisle configuration with no middle seats and enhanced onboard comfort. The airline also includes complimentary snacks and cabin baggage as part of its standard service.

Tickets are now available through Binter’s sales channels, with the airline also promoting add-on products such as stopover options and multi-island travel passes to encourage tourism across the archipelago.
