Binter Canarias of Spain will receive the first of three E195-E2s in the fourth quarter of 2019. Embraer’s newest E-Jets E2 customer converted its LOI (it was an undisclosed customer) announced at this year’s Farnborough Air Show to an order for three firm E195-E2s and purchase rights for two more.

Embraer E-Jets have been flying in Spain for years with Air Europa. Binter Canarias, however, is the first Spanish airline to fly the E2.

Our green E2s, with their ultra-low noise profile and CO2 emissions, are ideal for the environmentally-sensitive Canary Islands. The E195-E2’s range will allow Binter to continue its network expansion initiative, too.

The 30-year old airline flies 3.5 million annual passengers to eight cities in the Canary Islands and to two national and 12 international destinations.
