Binter Canarias proposes flights to the US, in codeshare with SATA via the Azores

Binter will operate, in codeshare with SATA Azores Airlines, connections with New York JFK and Boston between July and September. The flights make a stopover in Punta Delgada on their way to the American continent

Binter puts flights between the Canary Islands and the United States on sale for the period between the months of July and September. The Canarian airline will make it easier for its passengers to travel to the cities of New York and Boston, after making a stopover in Punta Delgada, in the Azores archipelago, thanks to the codeshare agreement between Binter and the Portuguese airline SATA Azores Airlines.

The collaboration between the two airlines improves the comfort of passengers, who will be able to make these connections with a single ticket, which includes the stopover in Punta Delgada, under a single flight code and with a single check-in.

Between July 1 and September 24, Binter and Azores Airlines will carry out flights between the Canary Islands and John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Logan International Airport (BOS).

In both cases, the flight to the American cities will depart from Gran Canaria at 08:30 on Saturday to make a stopover in Punta Delgada, from where it will take off at 18:00. In the opposite direction, the departure will be on Fridays at 21:15, and from Punta Delgada to the Canary Islands at 10:30.

In addition, Binter allows free of charge a connection between these flights and the inter-island flights in the Canary Islands in the case of connecting routes, making it possible to travel to or from different islands of the Canary archipelago for the same price, thanks to the extensive connectivity that they allow the daily operations that it carries out there.

Direct flights from the Canary Islands to the Azores

Starting next July 2, Binter resumes its direct flight from the Canary Islands to the Azores, which will depart, every Saturday, from Gran Canaria Airport at 08:30 and will land in Ponta Delgada at 09:50. The return to the Canary Islands will take place at 10:30 to land at 13:40.

The flights are carried out with E195-E2 aircraft, in a 132 seat configuration with a comfortable distance of 31 inches between the rows.
