Avianca has announced the resumption of its direct daily service between Bogotá, Colombia and Caracas, Venezuela, beginning 12 February 2026, restoring a key air link that had been suspended late last year.
The carrier said the decision follows a comprehensive evaluation of operational conditions and aviation safety, carried out in coordination with the relevant authorities.
The route will operate daily in both directions with the following schedule (local times):
Avianca emphasised that it has been serving Venezuela for more than six decades and that safety remains its top priority. The relaunch is part of its broader effort to strengthen regional connectivity and support binational tourism and trade.
Tickets are available for purchase via Avianca’s website, mobile app, travel agencies, physical points of sale and the airline’s Contact Centre.
This development comes as airspace in Venezuela gradually reopens for commercial flights after a period of reduced international operations following safety advisories and operational restrictions in late 2025
