Avianca will add two Airbus A330-900 aircraft to its fleet, strengthening long-haul operations and regional connectivity across the Americas.
The widebody jets—part of a broader plan by Abra Group to introduce seven A330-900 aircraft—will be based in Colombia and are expected to enter service in the second half of 2026. They will operate strategic routes within the Americas and support the airline’s expanding medium- and long-haul network.
Configured with 377 seats, including the airline’s Business Class Americas product, the aircraft are intended to improve passenger comfort while helping boost tourism and strengthen Colombia’s international connectivity.
With this addition, Avianca will remain the only operator of the A330-900 in Colombia, further expanding its widebody fleet of more than 15 aircraft and reinforcing the Abra Group’s regional aviation presence.
