Avianca is significantly expanding its operations to support fan travel during the FIFA World Cup, a major North American soccer tournament, offering more than 3,000 flights and nearly 600,000 seats.
The airline will connect passengers to 10 of the tournament’s 16 host cities across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, including Miami, New York, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and Toronto. The remaining host cities will be accessible through partner airlines.
This temporary network expansion is designed to facilitate fan travel and ensure strong attendance at matches, while offering flexible travel options ranging from basic fares to premium services.
The initiative highlights Avianca’s strategic focus on connectivity across the Americas and its role in supporting major international events by mobilising large-scale passenger capacity.
