Asiana Airlines in talks to start direct flights Seoul – Brussels Airport

Share

Asiana Airlines, one of South Korea’s two major airlines, along with Korean Air is planning a direct flight between Seoul and Brussels Airport, Toerisme Vlaanderen announced yesterday.

During a mission of the Government of Flanders Toerisme Vlaanderen proposed the Korean airline to launch direct flights between the two cities. South Korea is an important market for the Belgian tourism sector.

Last Tuesday talks were held with 55 Korean tour operators, and now -according to Toerisme Vlaanderen- the Korean tour operators have understood the potential of Flanders, Brussels and Belgium as a cultural and tourist destination.
