ANA – All Nippon Airways’ third and final Airbus A380 (JA383A) has been painted in a special “Flying Honu”-livery. The aircraft will be delivered to the Japanese airline next March and will enter into the airline’s network as from June 2020.
ANA is the first Japanese airline to receive the Airbus A380, the world’s largest passenger aircraft, and operates it between Tokyo and Honolulu. Their three A380 aircraft feature livery designs based on the sea turtle, a creature revered in Hawaii as sacred, and these liveries are known affectionately by the name “FLYING HONU” (meaning “flying sea turtle”).
