On 6 September, an American Airlines Airbus A321 (N928AM) from Los Angeles to Dallas diverted to the much smaller Wichita Falls Airport (Texas), eventually the flight got cancelled but the captain had a brilliant idea and ordered 40 pizzas at Papa John’s pizza. He then offered them to the passengers. “I don’t think I’ve seen this before“, Josh Raines said.
“It was actually a team effort,” the captain replied, “while the copilot was checking for hotel rooms, the cabin crew passed around with drinks.”
