An American Airlines CRJ7 (flight #AA5320) performed an emergency landing after hitting a deer on takeoff at Charlotte-Douglas Airport.
The pilots heard a loud bang on take-off, after a runway inspection they found a dead deer. The pilots made a low-pass above the airfield but another pilot spotted a fuel leak on the right-hand side.
The pilots then decided to make an emergency landing swiftly followed by an evacuation of the aircraft.
