On 16 June, an ALK Airlines Boeing 737-300 (LZ-MVK) was operating flight VBB7205 between Pristina, Kosovo and Basel-Mulhouse, Switzerland/France when 30 minutes before landing the aircraft encountered severe turbulence.
A video appeared on social media showing a flight attendant violently thrown to the ceiling. Several passengers were screaming while the trolley spilled drinks on the passengers. The aircraft continued to Basel-Mulhouse airport for a safe landing. In total, 10 passengers were hospitalized with minor injuries.
The Aviation Herald is reporting that seats were ripped out of their anchoring and that the occurrence aircraft departed for the return flight VBB-7206 after about 2.5 hours on the ground.
