With 89 per cent of flights landed on schedule, Alitalia has confirmed itself as the most punctual airline in the world in the first 4 months of 2019.
According to FlightStats, the authoritative US independent society which every month drafts the list of the major airlines in the world for on-time performance, comparing the data of equivalent airlines for size and network, Alitalia performed an excellent on-time index in April too.
The analysis performed by FlightStats reported that, in April, Alitalia has ranked most punctual airline in Europe and at third place globally, with 87.5 per cent of flights landed on schedule. The Alitalia’s on-time performance index was 9 percentage points higher than the average punctuality index of world airlines (78.5%).
