Slovak ACMI specialist AirExplore, part of Avia Solutions Group, has strengthened its fleet with the addition of another Boeing 737-800 passenger aircraft, bringing its total to nine passenger and two freighter 737-800s.
The newly added aircraft, OM-PEX, leased from Aviation Capital Group (ACG), features a single-class 189-seat configuration and has completed all required maintenance checks before entering service.
As demand for ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance) services continues to rise, AirExplore is evaluating deployment opportunities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
“Our plan is to deploy half of the fleet on year-round contracts and the other half on seasonal operations to remain flexible,” said Martin Stulajter, CEO of AirExplore. “This additional 737-800 enhances our ability to respond quickly to customer needs across multiple regions.”
Stulajter added that amid global aircraft shortages and delivery delays, the acquisition strengthens AirExplore’s competitive position:
“The demand for ACMI services remains strong. Expanding our fleet ensures we can continue offering reliable, high-quality solutions to our partners.”
With its expanded fleet and experienced crews, AirExplore is positioned to meet the growing demand for short- and medium-haul ACMI capacity worldwide.
