Lufthansa intends to wet-lease two Airbus A220-300 aircraft from airBaltic during the Summer 2019 season. The aircraft will support Lufthansa’s fleet during the busy summer months and will be based at Munich airport.
They will be deployed to the following destinations:
In the Lufthansa Group, Swiss is the only airline to fly the A220 with 8 A220-100s and 20 A220-300s. The latter model seats 145 passengers and has a range of 4,575 km.
