Last Friday (3 November) an AirBaltic Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 registered YL-BBT performed a flight between Turku (Finland) and Riga. After the passengers and crew left the aircraft technicians wanted to move the aircraft, but the end of the right wing struck a railing of a jet bridge. The wing was almost cut off. Today (Tuesday 7 November) the aircraft is still in for maintenance, an investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances.
