airBaltic has suspended all flights to and from Dubai until the end of October 2026, citing the current security situation in the Middle East.
The Latvian carrier said affected passengers will be able to rebook free of charge to any of the airline’s more than 80 destinations, including leisure routes such as Antalya, Corfu, Crete, Lisbon, Malta, Naples, Nice, Rhodes and Split.
According to Mantas Vrubliauskas, the airline’s vice president for network management, Dubai had been one of the most popular destinations in the airline’s network, but the current geopolitical situation requires a cautious approach.
Aircraft originally scheduled for the Dubai route will be redeployed to other leisure destinations, with additional flights planned to Alicante, Larnaca, Barcelona, Madrid and Tenerife throughout the summer and early autumn seasons.
Passengers booked on Dubai flights through October are advised to contact the airline’s call centre to change their reservation, with priority given to travellers departing in the coming months due to expected high demand for rebooking.
