Latvian carrier airBaltic transported 539,300 passengers in July 2025, down 4% from July 2024. The airline operated 4,455 flights (-0.7%) with a load factor of 86.4% (-2.4 percentage points). The decline was expected due to earlier network optimisation.
From January to July 2025, however, airBaltic achieved a record-high 2.9 million passengers, up 4.6% year-on-year. The airline also increased flights to 26,969 (+2.6%) and posted its highest-ever seven-month load factor of 79.5% (+0.6pp).
While July showed a modest dip, airBaltic’s year-to-date figures mark its strongest performance in company history for the first seven months of the year.
