airBaltic has announced two additional routes for its 2026/2027 winter schedule, adding flights from Riga to Turin and from Vilnius to Geneva. The airline says the expansion is aimed at growing demand for winter leisure travel and easier access to Alpine ski destinations.
The Vilnius–Geneva service will begin on January 2, 2027, while the Riga–Turin route launches on January 30, 2027. Both routes will operate once weekly on Saturdays until March 20, 2027, using Airbus A220-300 aircraft, with flight times of around 2 hours and 50 minutes.
With these additions, airBaltic’s total number of new winter routes rises to 15. Earlier-announced routes include services from the Baltic states as well as expanded operations from Gran Canaria, Tenerife, and Kuusamo.
The airline highlighted that its winter network is designed to cater to a range of travel preferences, including ski holidays, city breaks, and warm-weather destinations. airBaltic also noted that it continues to expand onboard high-speed Starlink internet connectivity across its Airbus A220-300 fleet.
