airBaltic carries 22% more passengers during first three quarters of 2019

Latvian airline airBaltic has transported a total of 3 874 867 or 22% more passengers during the first nine months of 2019 than in the same period last year to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East. In September 2019, 501 149 passengers travelled with airBaltic and it was a 26% increase compared to last year.

During the first nine months of the 2019 airBaltic has operated 47 779 flights. During September 2019, airBaltic operated 5 756 flights or 13% more than in September 2018.

The airline’s load factor, which represents the number of passengers as a proportion of the number of available seats, during the first nine months of 2019, was at a level of 77%, but in September 2019 – 80%.

The 15-minute flight punctuality indicator for airBaltic during the first nine months of 2019 reached a level of 86%. This means that more than 86 out of every 100 airBaltic flights departed at the planned time or with a delay of no more than 15 minutes.

airBaltic serves over 70 destinations from Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius, offering the largest variety of destinations and convenient connections via Riga to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, the CIS and the Middle East.
