airBaltic and Turkish Airlines have expanded their codeshare partnership, adding new destinations to enhance travel options between the Baltics, Türkiye, and beyond. Building on their joint Riga–Istanbul service launched in 2023, the agreement now includes:
airBaltic codes on Turkish Airlines flights from Istanbul to:
Tbilisi, Batumi, Ashgabat, Baku, Dushanbe, and Bishkek
Turkish Airlines codes on airBaltic flights from Riga to:
Turku and Tampere (Finland), and Palanga (Lithuania)
The new routes will be available pending regulatory approvals.
Both airlines aim to broaden their networks and offer passengers more seamless connections. airBaltic’s COO Pauls C?l?tis emphasised increased travel opportunities for Baltic passengers, while Turkish Airlines CEO Bilal Ek?i highlighted the move as part of a broader strategy to connect more countries through partnerships.
