Air Transat has expanded its transatlantic network with the launch of two new non-stop routes connecting Canada to Europe.
On June 20, 2025, the airline inaugurated its exclusive direct service between Toronto and Berlin, becoming the only carrier to offer non-stop flights between Canada and the German capital. Operating twice weekly through October with an Airbus A321LR, the route strengthens Air Transat’s presence in Europe and offers smooth connections via Porter Airlines to major Canadian cities.
Just a day later, on June 21, Air Transat launched another milestone route: the first-ever direct connection between Montreal and Valencia. Operating once weekly on Saturdays with an Airbus A321neo, this seasonal service runs until October 4, with plans to continue in the winter. It marks Valencia Airport’s first transoceanic route since 2012 and enhances access for Spanish travellers to Montreal and onward to destinations across the Americas.
Both inaugurations were met with enthusiasm from airport officials and travellers, reflecting Air Transat’s growing role in connecting Canada with key European cities and enhancing tourism, cultural exchange, and business opportunities.
