Air Transat has reached a tentative agreement with the union representing its pilots, ending the immediate threat of a strike and stabilising the carrier’s operations. The proposed deal, tied to the renewal of the pilots’ collective agreement, will be submitted to union members for ratification in the coming days.
With the strike risk lifted, Air Transat says flights are returning to normal. The airline acknowledged the disruption and uncertainty customers faced during the labour dispute and issued an apology to travellers affected in recent days.
The company now aims to restore full operations quickly and focus on delivering consistent, reliable service as the busy travel season continues.
