Air Transat has announced five new non-stop routes between Canada and Europe for summer 2027, including services to two new destinations: Geneva from Montreal and Birmingham from Toronto.
The Canadian leisure airline will also launch Quebec City–Lyon, Quebec City–Barcelona and Montreal–Faro services. The announced schedule is:
| Route | Weekly flights | Operating days | Operating period in 2027 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Montreal–Geneva | 2 | Tuesday, Saturday | 19 June–23 October |
| Toronto–Birmingham | 2 | Tuesday, Friday | 22 June–22 October |
| Quebec City–Lyon | 1 | Tuesday | 8 June–26 October |
| Quebec City–Barcelona | 1 | Monday | 14 June–25 October |
| Montreal–Faro | 1 | Monday | 14 June–25 October |
Birmingham will complement Air Transat’s existing London and Manchester services from Toronto. Faro, already served from Toronto, will become its third Portuguese destination from Montreal, alongside Lisbon and Porto.
The additions of Lyon and Barcelona will bring Air Transat’s non-stop European network from Quebec City to five destinations, joining Paris, Marseille and Nantes.
Meanwhile, Quebec City–Puerto Plata and Montreal–St Maarten will be extended to year-round operation, with one weekly summer flight on Mondays and Saturdays, respectively.
