Air Transat will launch new winter seasonal flights to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria from Montreal and Toronto as part of its 2026–27 winter schedule expansion. The weekly services will operate from December 2026 through April 2027, with departures from Montreal on Saturdays and Toronto on Sundays.

The airline said the new route strengthens its growing presence in Spain, where it now offers five destinations, including year-round service to Madrid, Málaga, Barcelona, and Valencia.

Air Transat is also expanding its operations from Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport with a new weekly route to Rio Hato, beginning in December 2026. The airline said the addition reflects continued demand for more leisure travel options from Quebec City.

Both new routes remain subject to regulatory approvals and airport slot availability.
