Kenya Airways and Air Tanzania have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deepen cooperation and improve air connectivity across East and Southern Africa.
The agreement focuses on shared growth through collaboration rather than competition, with plans to integrate efforts in human resource training, aircraft maintenance, safety, cargo operations, and innovation.
CEOs Allan Kilavuka (Kenya Airways) and Peter Ulanga (Air Tanzania) emphasised the partnership’s role in supporting economic growth, tourism, and trade while delivering more efficient travel solutions. The move is expected to strengthen the region’s aviation sector and open new market opportunities.
