Air Sénégal to launch nine new destinations, including flights to Paris

Share

On 4 October, Air Sénégal announced to launch not less than nine new destinations. The Senegalese airline will fly directly to following cities: Abidjan, Cotonou, Bissau, Banjul, Praia, Conakry, Bamako and Ouagadougou. Next to these West African destinations the airline eyes to launch long-haul flights to Paris, from 1 February 2019.

The first Airbus A319 for Air Sénégal, with 120 seats, will connect Dakar with Abidjan and Cotonou (daily). The airline will extend its ATR-network with flights to Bissau and Banjul. At the end of October, a second A319 will join the fleet. That second aircraft will then be used to link the Senegalese capital with Praia, Conakry, Bamako and Ouagadougou.

From February 2019, Air Sénégal will connect Dakar and Paris with one of the two brand new Airbus A330-900 Neo’s. French holiday airline Corsair was pushed from the market after the Senegalese aviation authority ANACIM unilaterally decided to suspend Corsair’s seven weekly flights from 31 January 2019.
