On 22 June, an Air Peace Boeing 737-500 (5N-BRN) operating a domestic flight from Abuja to Port Harcourt (Nigeria) skidded off the Port Harcourt International Airport runway. The occurrence happened during a heavy downpour.
87 passengers and 6 crew were on board, nobody got injured during the mishap. They disembarked the aircraft using mobile stairs.
