Air Montenegro will launch year-round flights between Podgorica and Brussels Airport on 30 November 2026, operating three return services per week. The connection is one of five routes scheduled under Montenegro’s one-year Public Service Obligation (PSO) programme, with tickets now on sale, according to the supplied reports.
Brussels flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with morning rotations from Podgorica on Mondays and Wednesdays and an afternoon rotation on Fridays.
All five routes will operate three times weekly throughout the year:
| Destination from Podgorica | Launch date |
|---|---|
| Zagreb | 26 November 2026 |
| Brussels Airport | 30 November 2026 |
| Frankfurt | 4 December 2026 |
| Paris Charles de Gaulle | 17 December 2026 |
| Bari | 17 December 2026 |
Air Montenegro secured all five contracts as the sole bidder in a tender open to other airlines. Their combined estimated value is approximately €4.79 million excluding VAT, including €1.49 million earmarked for Brussels.
The Brussels allocation is not a guaranteed payment in full: compensation depends on actual revenue and eligible operating costs, with a permitted 5% profit margin and a contractual ceiling. The programme aims to improve Montenegro’s connectivity beyond the summer tourist season.
