Air Mediterranean has started a new service from Cologne Bonn Airport, offering weekly flights to Athens and Damascus. Operating every Wednesday, the route includes a direct flight to Athens, with a connecting leg to Damascus on the same aircraft. The outbound flight departs at 13:00, using a Boeing 737, and returns on the same day.
Cologne Bonn Airport sees this as a valuable addition to its capital city network, while Air Mediterranean aims to expand its route offerings with its signature Mediterranean hospitality.
Athens offers a mix of ancient history and modern culture, while Damascus remains one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, known for its historic souks, architecture, and mezze cuisine. Tickets are available via major travel agencies and at www.fly2syria.com.
