On 6 March, an Air India Boeing 787-8 (VT-ANU) operating flight AI121 from Delhi to Frankfurt experienced a decompression flying at 22,000 feet. Oxygen masks dropped while the aircraft made a rapid descend (*) to lower altitudes (9,000 feet). The aircraft returned to Delhi airport.

Air India confirmed that nobody got injured during the incident, the flight towards Frankfurt has now been postponed until tomorrow morning (7 March) and another aircraft will be scheduled to operate. The airline ensured that it is committed to maintaining high standards of passenger comfort and safety. Jai Hind.
