From Sunday (15 September), Air India crew members will become a little bit healthier. At least that is what Air India’s director of operations thinks. From now on, the crew meal consists of a special low fat diet that has been worked out “on day wise basis in order to provide a light and healthy meal with a home touch.”
“Taking into consideration the health factor of crew, an initiative has been taken by Director Operations to revise the in-flight food menu for the crew,” was written in an internal memo.
The change will be introduced only on ex-Mumbai/Delhi flights from 15 September midnight on all domestic and international flights.
