To celebrate its 60th anniversary, Transavia will unveil a special retro-liveried Airbus A321neo at Schiphol on Friday, July 25. The aircraft, registered PH-YHD, will be the airline’s twelfth Airbus and pays tribute to its 1965 founding with flight number HV 1965.
The livery is inspired by a 1966 design by Dutch designer Thijs Postma, blending Transavia’s heritage with modern aviation.
CEO Marcel de Nooijer emphasised the airline’s continued mission to connect people while investing in a quieter, cleaner, and more efficient fleet. The aircraft will be ready for immediate deployment, though its first destination is yet to be announced.
