Transavia will temporarily relocate part of its operations during the closure of Eindhoven Airport, which is set to undergo runway renovations from February 1 to July 18, 2027.

To maintain connectivity, the airline will operate flights from:

  • Maastricht Aachen Airport (2 aircraft based)
  • Weeze Airport (4 aircraft based)

The remaining aircraft normally stationed in Eindhoven will be reassigned across Transavia’s broader network.

Passengers will still have access to a wide range of leisure destinations, including popular cities such as Alicante, Málaga, Barcelona, Lisbon, Marrakech, Tenerife, and Gran Canaria, depending on the departure airport.

The airline emphasised that both alternative airports are near Eindhoven and offer efficient passenger handling, helping minimise disruption during the closure. Flights for the winter 2026–27 season will go on sale from April 16, with further updates for summer 2027 expected later.

Transavia described the move as a necessary operational adjustment while it prepares to return to a modernised Eindhoven Airport in mid-2027.
