Transavia celebrates the fifth anniversary of its in-house flight training programme, the Transavia Airline Pilot Programme, which has been preparing candidates for careers in Transavia aircraft cockpits for five years.
Initially launched due to a persistent demand for pilots and a need to address quality issues from other flying schools, the programme has been successful, with expectations that by 2025, nearly 10% of Transavia’s pilot corps will be graduates of the programme.
Plans are underway to transition the training to focus on Airbus pilots, aligning with the airline’s fleet modernisation strategy. Investments are also being made in sustainable training aircraft to enhance the programme’s environmental impact.
Interested individuals can sign up to stay informed about the training programme.
