Transavia has launched its summer 2026 season with new and expanded services to the Italian islands, responding to strong demand for Mediterranean sun destinations. The airline’s first flight from Eindhoven to Olbia (Sardinia) marks the start of a significant network expansion across Sardinia and Sicily.
Flights to the Italian islands will increase by more than 65% compared to last summer, with the number of routes growing from three to seven. New services include Eindhoven–Olbia and Amsterdam–Palermo (both launched April 2), Amsterdam–Alghero (April 6), and Rotterdam–Catania (April 26), strengthening Transavia’s presence in Italy.
The airline is also broadening access to popular leisure destinations by converting several previously charter-only routes—such as Hurghada, Marsa Alam, Antalya, Karpathos, Skiathos, and Lesbos—into scheduled services available for regular bookings.
In total, Transavia will operate 128 routes to 84 destinations during the summer season, reinforcing its focus on high-demand leisure markets.
