Transavia will continue its expansion at Brussels Airport with the launch of a new route to Porto, offering three weekly flights from 14 December 2026.
The new service will operate every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, providing passengers in Belgium and the south of the Netherlands with another direct connection to one of Portugal’s most popular destinations.
Porto is renowned for its UNESCO-listed historic centre, the famous port wine cellars along the Douro River and its proximity to the scenic Douro Valley, making it a year-round destination for both city breaks and longer holidays.
The new route further strengthens Transavia’s presence at Brussels Airport, where the Dutch low-cost carrier has operated since 2022. Earlier this year, the airline established its own crew base at the airport, employing locally based pilots and cabin crew as part of its long-term growth strategy in Belgium.
Transavia already serves Porto from its Amsterdam hub, and the addition of Brussels reflects continued demand for leisure travel between Belgium and Portugal.
Tickets for the new Brussels–Porto service go on sale on 5 August.
