Transavia has received its tenth Airbus A321neo, which landed at Schiphol on 27 June and began service the same day. Two more A321neos, including one with a retro livery marking Transavia’s 60th anniversary, will arrive this summer, bringing the Airbus fleet to twelve aircraft and to fourteen by year’s end.
Meanwhile, the airline is retiring its older Boeing aircraft. Four 737-700s have already left the fleet, and on 20 June, the first 737-800 (PH-HZD) was flown to Wales for dismantling. Four more 737-800s will be retired in 2024.
Transavia plans to fully transition to Airbus aircraft by 2031.
