Transavia will operate a temporary direct service between Rotterdam The Hague Airport and Oujda in north-eastern Morocco during the summer of 2026, responding to sustained demand for travel to the region.
The airline will fly twice weekly, on Mondays and Thursdays, from 2 July to 31 August 2026. The new route is aimed primarily at travellers with family ties to the Oujda region, where demand traditionally peaks during the summer holiday period.
Oujda was previously offered as a seasonal destination from Amsterdam during the Christmas period, where strong passenger interest confirmed the need for direct connectivity. Building on that success, Transavia is now extending access from Rotterdam, providing a convenient option for travellers in the wider Rotterdam region.
The addition of Oujda further strengthens Transavia’s Moroccan network from Rotterdam, which already includes services to Al Hoceima, Fez, Nador and Tangier. The move underlines the airline’s strategy of flexibly adjusting capacity to match seasonal demand in key leisure and VFR (visiting friends and relatives) markets.
Tickets for the Rotterdam–Oujda route are now on sale.
