After positive third quarter results, KLM’s traffic and transport figures showed strong growth again in October. KLM Passenger Business welcomed 7.9% more passengers compared to the same month last year. Load factor rose by 1.2 percentage point to 88% against an increased capacity of 2.9%.
Following the good third quarter results, October’s traffic and transport figures represent a promising start for the winter season. Europe in particular showed a good month with an increase in capacity (7%), the number of passengers (10.5%), and load factor (2.4 percentage points).

Transavia also benefitted from the rising market demand and saw an increase in capacity, number of passengers, and load factors. At KLM Cargo, a slight increase in capacity of 0.5% resulted in a 1.4% drop in transport, which reduced the cargo load factor by 1.2 percentage point.
